That's awesome Josh!
I looked into getting a cake done there, but they ask a min. $1000 per cake order.

Is the Mythic cake gonna make it on the show?

Take comfort in Brinskmanship as a strategy. Threatening to, say, shoot down planes gets North Korea free stuff. Actually shooting down planes=no more free stuff.

'You've ruined everything....you....ruiner!'

I had heard that Gaeta comes back and he has a pig for a leg. Starbuck develops the ability to control furniture with her mind, and enslaves Apollo in the Galaxy's Most Comfortable Chair. And that the Cylons develop a weapon that reduces its victims to blathering idiots, only able to speak high-school French.

Really, 'Alternate Reality' Battlestar should be a meme.

Ok, color me now intrigued; normally fore go seeing any period piece that appears to be getting a ton of TV ads, preferring to wait for its DVD release if the marketing folks are spending pennies like crazy; but after your write-up, maybe its worth a visit.

And we thought it was Obama bungling! I'm sure we weren't the only ones -- glad Time set us all straight. Lovely.

No cash money needed!

On Spinal Tap:

They found it hilarious. 99% of the stuff in the movie has happened to them at some point or another. In addition, they apparently played with Spinal Tap at Ronnie James Dio's "Hearing Aid" event (the heavy metal "Live Aid", apparently) and got along wonderfully.

On the SNL bit:

Again, they loved it. It reintroduced them to a new era of fans and they've been touring more regularly ever since.

On the cowbell in general:

They are very pro-cowbell, going so far as to sell BOC "Got Cowbell?" shirts at their shows. Apparently, there was an in-band argument about who ACTUALLY played the cowbell originally.

3d time's the charm. I keep failing at your CAPTCHA and losing my eloquentia perfecta. You did the right thing. Can't wait for you to come home so I can tell you "a winner is you" while buying you a beer.

your CAPTCHA outsmarted me, and ate my long and winding ode to your ability to do the right thing in any situation. So, let me just say (1) get back stateside so I can (2) buy you a beer and (3) tell you that you rule.
