del.icio.us is killing this blog.

It’s become painfully obvious to me that the vast majority of what I’ve put on this site has been low on commentary and high on simple reblogging of random shit I find elsewhere. I’ve been messing around with del.icio.us recently and have decided that it is INFINITELY superior to standard blogging when it comes to simply noting weird or interesting things I come across throughout the day. So, for at least the near future, there will be no more random commentary-free links and reblogs on this page. If you want to see that kind of stuff (and significantly more of it, to be honest), go here. In the short term, this will mean less frequent posting here - mostly because I’m stupidly busy at the moment, but also because I grew lazy and slothful feasting off of the weird content of other people. Eventually, I’ll snap back and become a lean, mean posting machine and then we will all have cake and shake our fists at the heavens… er… yeah.

Anywho, there’s a permanent link to my del.icio.us profile at the top right corner of the page. I highly recommend checking the system out for yourself while you’re there. It’s an exceptionally good way to guarantee you aren’t the last person to know about the Hot New YTMND or Johnny Cash/Insane Clown Posse mashups.

Oh noes! I feel partially responsible because I put that “Evils of Constant Reblogging” article in my del.icio.us list.

Does this mean that you’ll have to *dun dun dun* start posting more about your personal life?

That’d be a big, fat “no way,” little lady.

Also, rest easy. I started using del.icio.us to combat my continued laziness, so it’s not your fault either.
